Frequently Asked Questions

Can I sleep with a sports mouth guard?

In short, no. It's good practice to cover your gums for an hour or two during sports or training, but not the whole night. There are night guards available, which only cover your teeth, especially the biting surfaces – made especially for sleeping.

How do you sanitise a sports mouth guard?

One recommended way of cleaning your sports mouth guards is to use hydrogen peroxide and vinegar. Rinse your mouthguard well under cool water, and place it in a clean glass. You can also let the mouthguard sit in the hydrogen peroxide for 30 minutes, ensuring to rinse well after.
